I have been speaking to one of my best friends who is a pharmacist and whose wife is a physician. First off, he has a supply of the drug in his pharmacy in S Florida and his lupus patients are getting the drug. He says this drug has been around for over fifty years and has relatively little side effects. The wholesale cost of the generic is about a quarter a pill. The drug, when used with antibiotics has shown a lot of promise and he doesn't understand why most of these so call journalists on tv are reporting otherwise. I have spoken with several other friends of mine who are physicians and they all would use the medication if they got covid.
